We specialise in birds, reptiles (snakes, lizards, turtles), amphibians, small mammals (rabbits, rats, mice, guinea pigs) and native wildlife. We do not treat cats or dogs.

Yes — all sick and injured wildlife brought in by members of the public is treated free of charge. We provide pain relief, diagnostics (X-rays, blood tests, faecal assessment) and surgery if needed.

No referral is needed for pet owners. Simply call us on 08 7926 8909 or book online. We also accept referrals from other NT veterinary clinics for specialist cases.

We’re open Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 5:30 pm. We do not offer after-hours emergency services. For after-hours emergencies, please call your local vet clinic.

Contain the animal in a box or small container and bring it to us at 44 Graffin Crescent, Winnellie, as soon as possible. If you can’t catch or transport it, call Wildcare NT on 0408 885 341 or Darwin Wildlife Sanctuary on 0473 992 581.

Yes — rabbits should be vaccinated against Calicivirus (RHDV1 and RHDV2) with the Filavac® vaccine from 10 weeks of age, with annual boosters. Our vaccination appointments include a full wellness exam and dental check.

We have a full in-house diagnostics suite including blood machines, high-quality digital X-ray, specialised ultrasound and endoscopy equipment — all operated by staff experienced with exotic and wildlife patients.
